The U.S. Flag may be displayed on any day of the year.   Here are the days it is particularly appropriate to display the flag—including those days the U.S. Flag is flown at half-staff.

Monday January 16^th  Martin Luther King Day  (traditionally the 3rd Monday in January)
Sunday February 12^th  - Lincoln's Birthday  (some states recognize on Monday 2/13)
Monday February 20^th - President's Day (traditionally the 3rd Monday in February)
Friday April 6^th – Army Day
Sunday April 8^th - Easter Sunday
Sunday May 13^th  - Mother's Day  (traditionally the second Sunday in May)
Tuesday May 15^th – Peace Officers Memorial Day  half-staff
Saturday May 19^th - Armed Forces Day   (celebrated on the third Saturday in May)
Monday May 28^th  - Memorial Day  half-staff until Noon   (traditionally last Monday in May)
Thursday June 14^th - Flag Day  (commemorating the adoption of the U.S. Flag in 1777)
Sunday June 17^th   - Father's Day (traditionally the 3rd Sunday in June)
Wednesday July 4^th - Independence Day
Saturday August 4^th – Coast Guard Day  (a set day commemorating the founding in 1790)
Monday September 3^rd - Labor Day  (traditionally the 1^st  Monday in September)
Tuesday September 11^th - Patriot Day  half-staff
Monday September 17^th - Constitution Day and Citizenship Day (Constitution signed in 1787)
Sunday September 30^th  - Gold Star Mother's Day  (traditionally the last Sunday in September)
Saturday October 6^th  - Firefighters Memorial Day  half-staff
Monday October 8^th - Columbus Day  (traditionally the 2^nd Monday in October)
Saturday October 27^th - Navy Day (established in 1922 on birthday of Theodore Roosevelt)
Tuesday November 6^th - Election Day  (traditionally the 1^st  Tuesday in November)
Saturday November 10^th – Marine Corps Day  (established in 1775)
Sunday November 11^th - Veterans Day
Thursday November 22^nd - Thanksgiving Day  (traditionally the 4^th Thursday in November)
